Hi there, I’m Lennard!

I am a recent university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in IT-management and a major in software development, based in Hamburg, Germany.

I am fascinated by new digitally based technologies and how they can be used in different contexts for institutions and organizations. Technical fundamentals must be understood in order to integrate and evaluate new technologies more quickly. However, in a world where everything is becoming increasingly volatile and complex, not only technical knowledge but also organizational understanding is required.

Issues like data protection (IT security), dealing with the change processes and working in different organizational models (agile vs. waterfall) are just some of the areas that need to be considered in a successful IT project today.

As of 2021, I have also been successfully working as a freelance software developer and have gained valuable experience in creating custom software for clients. I have supervised several projects as a developer and data engineer – both in the private industry and the research community. For example, as part of a research project, I was responsible for implementing and developing simulated online casino software using Python to validate possible strategies for reducing gambling addiction.
